At X Shore, we’re changing the boating industry for good with our electric boats that leave fossil fuels behind. As a leading name in climate technology and sustainable boating, we’re growing quickly and need a dedicated Key Account Sales Manager to help us deepen relationships with our largest clients and drive global expansion.
About the Role
In this role, you’ll be part of a passionate team at the forefront of sustainable tech, focused on serving X Shore’s key accounts across international B2B markets. We’re looking for someone who knows the ins and outs of the boat industry and account management overall, with the insight to spot growth opportunities and the drive to build solid, long-term partnerships. Working closely with the rest of the Sales Team, you’ll play a big role in growing our presence worldwide while aligning with our overall market strategy.
What You’ll Do
- Create and Implement Key Account Strategies: You’ll develop targeted strategies to meet the needs of our high-value clients, find new ways to add value, and help these partnerships grow.
- Drive Sales for Key Accounts: You’ll be the main point of contact for your accounts, working to exceed sales targets by building trust and delivering solutions that meet their needs.
- Manage Reporting and Forecasting: Keep everyone on the same page by providing accurate, transparent reporting and clear sales forecasts for key accounts.
- Deliver Exceptional Client Experiences: We believe our clients deserve the best. You’ll elevate the customer experience by offering proactive support and regularly gathering feedback to refine our approach.
- Represent X Shore at Industry Events: From boat shows to trade events, you’ll represent the X Shore brand and build new connections in the industry.
- Stay Organized with CRM Tools: Use CRM systems to keep client info up-to-date and easily accessible across teams, supporting seamless internal collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
- Educational Background: A degree in Business Administration, International Business, or a related field is ideal.
- B2B Account Management Experience: You should have a proven track record of managing high-value accounts in an international B2B setting.
- Negotiation Expertise: Strong negotiation skills and a history of closing mutually beneficial deals.
- Go-to-Market Experience: Familiarity with go-to-market strategies for international expansion is essential.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Communication and Networking Skills: You’re a natural communicator who can build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Passion for Sustainability: We want someone who shares our commitment to creating a fossil-free future.
