At X Shore, we’re changing the boating industry for good with our electric boats that leave fossil fuels behind. We’re looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to help grow our international reach and inspire the boating world to embrace greener choices.
About the Role
As our Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for direct sales to private customers. You'll be responsible for identifying strategic markets, generating and nurturing leads, and ensuring an exceptional end-to-end customer experience. Working closely with the Sales Leadership Team, you'll also play a crucial role in scaling our dealer presence while maintaining the highest standards of partner performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
- Drive lead acquisition through international boat shows, online channels, and local ambassador networks
- Market Development: Identify and prioritize strategic areas for direct sales expansion
- Align Sales Initiatives by collaborating with the sales team to ensure our efforts align across all markets.
Sales Process Management:
- Manage inventory visibility of demo and new boats
- Create and maintain accurate quotations
- Organize and conduct sea trials
- Close deals and ensure smooth customer handover
Customer Experience:
- Define experience centers for sea trials
- Coordinate with the Field Service team for boat deliveries and warranty support
- Ensure premium customer service throughout the sales cycle
- Organize dealer meetings, training sessions, and represent X Shore at industry events
CRM Excellence:
- Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions
- Track and follow up on leads effectively
- Monitor sales pipeline and forecast accuracy
Team Coordination:
- Work with Field Service to appoint dedicated customer support managers
- Collaborate with local ambassadors to enhance market presence
- Ensure seamless handover and after-sales support
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Degree in Business, International Business, or a related field
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in B2C sales, preferably in marine or high-end automotive industries
- Market Development Experience: History of successfully entering and developing new markets
- Event Management: Experience organizing and leveraging high-end customer events, preferably boat shows
- Customer Journey Expertise: Deep understanding of customer acquisition and relationship management
- Process Development: Ability to establish and optimize sales processes and policies
- CRM Mastery: Advanced skills in CRM management and sales pipeline optimization
- International Business Acumen: Understanding of cross-border sales and cultural nuances
- Team Collaboration: You thrive in team settings, contributing to group success and adapting quickly to changes.
- Communication and Networking Abilities: You’re a strong communicator who can build relationships with ease.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a strong plus)
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You’re passionate about growth and sustainable business, with a proactive mindset.
