At X Shore, we’re changing the boating industry for good with our electric boats that leave fossil fuels behind. We’re looking for a driven and experienced Sales Manager to help grow our international reach and inspire the boating world to embrace greener choices.
About the Role
As our Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for building and managing relationships with marine dealers and distributors in the US. Your expertise in channel management and dealer development will help us expand our distribution network while ensuring our partners deliver the premium X Shore experience to end customers. Working closely with the Sales Leadership Team, you'll play a crucial role in scaling our dealer presence while maintaining the highest standards of partner performance.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develop Dealer Network Strategy: Design and implement a comprehensive dealer recruitment and management program to drive network growth and performance
- Manage Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors, providing support to help them succeed
- Coordinate Market Coverage: Strategically expand our dealer network to ensure optimal market coverage while avoiding channel conflicts
- Drive Dealer Performance: Set and monitor dealer KPIs, provide training, and implement programs to enhance dealer capabilities and sales
- Align Sales Initiatives: Collaborate with the sales team to ensure our efforts align across all markets
- Support Dealer Events: Organize dealer meetings, training sessions, and represent X Shore at industry events
- Manage Dealer Resources: Ensure dealers have access to necessary tools, marketing materials, and product information
- Leverage CRM Systems: Use our CRM tools to maintain streamlined processes and efficient communication
What We’re Looking For
- Educational Background: Degree in Business, International Business, or a related field
- Dealer Network Experience: Proven track record in managing and growing dealer networks, preferably in marine industries
- Channel Management Expertise: Strong understanding of dealer business models and channel development strategies
- Partnership Development: Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and developing successful dealer relationships
- Strong Commercial Acumen: Understanding of dealer economics and ability to structure win-win partnership
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Communication and Networking Abilities: You’re a strong communicator who can build relationships with ease
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: You’re passionate about growth and sustainable business, with a proactive mindset
- Team Collaboration: You thrive in team settings, contributing to group success and adapting quickly to changes

This role offers flexible location options within the US, with proximity to west/east coast being optimal.
