This thesis is about working with simulation software, like Simulink/Matlab, to create a model for an electric boat drivetrain. This model is used to evaluate the system performance with emphasis on efficiency under different load cycles. Further study will be carried out to increase the drivetrain efficiency by means of system optimization.

You are an engineering student with good simulation skills, a basic understanding of how inverter and motor works, and a basic understanding of power electronics. The work involves working with an electric boat drivetrain, so an interest in working with boat is a plus.
You communicate fluently in English and Swedish is considered a plus.
